Tee Ganbold is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at OpenESG.com - the world’s sustainability data infrastructure (B2B SaaS). She was Co-Founder and CMO of Clear AI, optimizing supply chains for sustainability (B2B SaaS).
At Clear AI, realized that for most companies the non-financial data just didn't exist - while listening to so many corporates frustrated that the current ESG systems which are very manual, closed and expensive to understand whether their suppliers are sustainable or not. The friction exists for everyone: investors, corporates, SMEs and consumers. This experience led her to the realization that the time is now to build the sustainability data infrastructure for her generation - build around the principles of Web3 and AI - and co-founded OpenESG.com in 2022 to create it.
Prior to this, Tee carried out global business operations roles for the solutions team at ConsenSys, a blockchain venture studio focused on building decentralized applications on Ethereum, and Cambridge Analytica, a data science consultancy.
10 years ago, Tee learnt the city she was born in - Ulan Bator - was the most polluted city at the time. She has been working towards a global sustainable vision ever since - at 20 (in 2014) when she wrote her thesis in alternative energy, pushed for alternative energy investments at Pareto Securities, Norwegian investment bank, and founded her first company at 23 (in 2016) to bring sustainable cashmere to the world.
Tee spends her spare time with her family and friends, hiking outdoors, reading geopolitics, and flying gliders. She sees the world through the lenses of “green realism”, “green industrialisation” and “green profit”. She enjoys being in the mountains.
